Beginning-Level Grammar Lessons

  • Lesson on how to teach nouns - This page contains an easy-to-follow lesson on nouns. In particular, the lesson has two parts. The first is a brief lesson on teaching students what a noun is along with a practice exercise. The second is a lesson on what nouns do. This is also followed by a suggestion for two practice exercises.

  • Teaching the Verb Tense System - This section explains the verb tense/aspect system using an easy-to-understand method that typically has my students correctly using all 12 tenses in a written discourse with only about 2 weeks of lessons and practices.
